I was not expecting this

I stopped by my friend's pawn shot yesterday. As soon as I got in the store Joe (the owner) said he just traded for a gun that he was sure I would like. So I went over to him to take a look. It was a Beretta 92A1 that was just like it came from the factory. I really believe the previous owner never ...

Re: Ithaca model 49 saddle gun

When I first restored this gun I didn't do anything to the stock. Last week I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a "shot". I'm not very good at working with wood, but here are my results.

Re: Anybody collect grease and grime?

Rather than start another thread about gun storage, I would like to pose a question. Are these silicone impregnated gun "socks" worthwhile for storing you rifles in your vault? Do they prevent rust and help keep moisture away from the guns? Any help would be appreciated. I have two dehumid...

Re: Anyone Own A Marlin Model 60SB

Here is my Marlin 60SB. Actually, after I bought it my wife claimed ii is hers. So be it. She loves to shoot it and being 80 years old she does very well. It has been dependable and accurate. It came with the scope. I bought it at Walmart.

Re: .22 Ammo

Only 6000 rounds? I did my stocking up before the crazy started, I always bought in lots of 5000-10,000 because I shot a lot of .22 and the more you bought the cheaper the price per round. I never thought for a minute at the time that I needed to stock up because there would be a shortage, it's .22...

Re: .22 Ammo

.22 lr are getting more plentiful here. My local pawn shop has a good supply, however it's a little pricey. A couple weeks ago I was going through Walmart about mid morning and checked out the ammo. They still had Federal boxes of 333 rounds per box still on the shelf (from being put out the night b...

Ithaca model 49 saddle gun

I have never blued or restored a gun before. (I would never touch my Mosins for any change to them) However, I recently purchased an Ithaca model 49 single shot 22. It was really rusty and in bad shape cosmetically, however very sound mechanically. So I decided to see what I could do with the little...

Nice group you have.  I have a CZ82, East German Makarov, P64, and commercial Russian Makarov in 380 cal. They all shoot well except the P64 like to "bite". Still like it though. :D
