Re: Ammo Pouches
The holster looks like the same holster that came with the Hungarian PA 63. Accessories for the rifles, for the Arisaka's I got a little carried away.

I have one for a later war type 99 "last ditch" style?
I bought it at a flee market on a junk table.

Old Smith and Wesson Revolvers
Two old Smith and Wessons. Double Action model in .38 S&W that actually was the personal revolver of a Los Almos WW2 scientist. Second is a “lemon squeezer” in .32 S&W short. This one I found last week for $150.00 I was happy with the old school price.

The Type 99, take a close up the markings to the left and right of the serial number. The kana will tell us the series. a close up will also show us the arsenal.

Re: Ruger .38 Value
I was thinking it was high, I was just seeing if the prices sky rocketed or not. They have, and pretty much everywhere on everything firearms, ammo, guns, reloading gear and components. Attended a gun show yesterday in AZ (could be one of the last real shows) lots of prices in that range, I did not...

Re: Light surface rust advice
so a decade late to the string, but I was just skulking through some old posts in the forums and thought I'd share re a rust hack. I agree with the brass/bronze brush advice and would add that a pure copper penny works quite well also. the penny is useful if you are into some more serious rust and ...

Re: Norinco NP762
I bought a Norinco Tokarev chambered for 9mm 9x19 when they hit the US in the early 90's it was a hundred bucks. The manual stated that the pistol should be considered "worn out" after 500 rounds of service, I sold it soon after. I have always wondered how many other people read the manua...

Re: QUIZ: What Mauser am I?
Spanish La Corona possibly? The Spanish scrubbed the crest off of rifles for years and did a nice job when doing so. Spain rebuilt and reconfigured Mausers into many different variations and exported a bunch before 1968 That receiver looks like their work.

Re: Health Insurance BS
My Cardiologist took me off Lisinopril and put me on Entresto because it does a better job. Well the Base won't fill it without a Prior Authorization from Tricare....Which requires paperwork, then an approval from a board, etc. So the price for the medication without insurance approval would be $60...

Becoming more and more common. Here In Phoenix I ran a debit card thru skimmer someplace, could have been a restaurant server stole info, I'll never know. The bank called in morning to ask if I purchased $154.00 worth of stuff at Circle K? Seems they knew the answer and had already froze the card. ...

Re: Is there any way to find out who had my rifle?
I was wondering who my 1938 tula mosin belonged to. The only rifles out there that come with that info are the Swiss K31 rifles. Most of these it turns out have the name and address on a tag that was placed under the buttplate. Many of these tags were never removed. I ended up with Eugene Schmidts ...
