Re: Romanian Tokarev TTC

Nice gun I don't shoot mine much but I do like it's flat trajectory and lack of recoil. Makes it easy for my wife to handle. She hates my Glock .40 and Colt 45's. Especially the model 27 Glock in 40 cal.I love it. JGC

Re: Looking to buy my first SKS

I bought an SKS from AIM for $309.00. I paid the extra $10.00 for hand pick. I got what appears to be a good rifle with the usual average amount of wear on the furniture and no rust pitting. However,it was extremely well packed with Cosmoline that I am still trying to get out. So, if you can find a ...

Re: Enfield No2 Mk1

Very nice Enfield No.2 Mk1. I can.t remember what the one I had back in 1975 used as ammo. but I had the same problem finding any at all. I think the model I had was very close to .45 ACP and someone suggested I try the moon clips with .45 ACP. I did not do this but traded it for a real Colt .45 191...

Re: The *NEW* Taurus Curve

I wonder if it curves enough to shoot yourself if discharges in your pocket? As was mentioned"I would want one in 9mm". I carry a TCP .380 as a back up only and wish it was a 9 MM. I like new ideas so I think the gun is OK for some folks just because it does not imprint like my TCP can in ...

Re: My First Spanish C&R - Astra 600

Very cool Astra 600.I remember reading about them in a pistol history book and because of the smaller size of the 300 they were very popular with underworld criminal women in the early years . The Mafia seemed to like them because they were European and not easily traced by numbers. Some bring back ...

Re: Century Arms Centurion 39 Sporter

Very nice furniture on your Century 39. I don't know the early history of Century but I guess they must have improved like I.O. did when they moved to Fla. The AK47 Sporter 7.62X39 I bought for $349.00 has been just fine through the 500 or so rounds I've run.It was the first all black American AK47 ...

Re: Henry 22 lever action

I've never seen a Silver Boy. I have been a collector of 22 cal. rifles and pistols since I bought my first 22 rifle at ten yrs. old. It was a J.C. Higgins carbine mail order from Sears and was a single shot with a chrome bolt . Since it was a boys size I gave it to a cousin when I got to big for it...

Re: Zastavz PAP M92PV Pistol Butt stock

I bought a SB47 Stabilizing Brace for my MP92 PV. It took me more time to find a flat head screw driver that fit my handle screw, than to actually install it. It was very easy and works fine. I'm glad I got one before the BATF Taxes them or makes them illegal, as has been suggested they might. They ...

Re: This is my rifle....(M1 Garand)

Really nice! I've not seen to many WWII models with the plugs for a grenade sight. I wonder how rare this makes the rifle. The South Vietnamese had some left over M-1"s but I never saw one with an actual grenade sight. I wonder when they stopped using them? JGC

Re: Chinese SKS light primer strikes

Thanks for the info on SKS mis-fires. When I first got my SKS 56 it seemed to fire most of the rounds of all types of 7.62X39 ammo with no trouble . Lately it has not fired some and does seem to be getting more frequent. At first I thought it might be the spring or the pin wearing down but dirt or o...

Additional info about the Beretta 92 series. This model proved to be highly successful design and the forerunner of many successful variants. Only 5,000 were produced. The 92 F had interchangeable parts with all Model 92 Variants with a chrome barrel. 5000,000 were produced. The 92 FS had an ambidext...

Re: The *NEW* Taurus Curve

The NEW Taurus curve is sure different. So much so it looks more like a phone than a gun( like my LCP . 380) The one time I had to pull a gun on someone to protect myself all I had to do, before actually shooting, was show them I had a gun.The expression on their face, upon seeing I had the means to ...

I placed an order with SOG for a 92 S Beretta but decided to cancel when SOG called me back to say all they had left were the $279.00 basic pistol with only one magazine and considerable holster wear to the finish. No hand pick,no top of the line @ $299.00 and no other magazines available. The sales...
