That came out awesome Bill, very nice save..
BTW I seem to be amassing a collection of sporter stocks, is there a market for them at the gun shows ?? Rather someone use a stock that's cut then cut a stock..

I did one of my cabinates the other day, got lucky found no rust.. Still took almost all day to run thrugh 19 rifles.. I would invest in silicone gun socks. I live in coastal carolina and the rifles are kept in a non climate controlled part of the house.

No the thing I hate most on facebook is the "it's ok to mod it because they made millions of them" crowd.. Even though the same was said of Enfields, and carcanos, and Mausers and such. For some reason they think mosin's will be different. Them and then counter bores hurt a rifles value c...

Re: Ex Cossack found in crate!
This is what I enjoy most about Mosins, the Hunt !! The fact that most people, and shops for that matter have zero idea what they have. That means the deals are out there for guys like me who can't afford the high dollar stuff. This is why I keep looking, and that more the anything else keeps me loo...

Re: The *NEW* Taurus Curve
It's hard to tell in the pics, but the entire frame of the gun is "curved" to form against your thigh. Neat design, not sure about lack of sights but i guess your aiming for central mass with that one.

Cool gun, wish they made it in 9mm.. Easer to find ammo, and a smidge more stopping power. Wonder how snappy it is.

Won a belated birthday gift for myself.
My birthday was a few days ago, but I have been watching/bidding on this rifle for the past week.. It was mistakenly listed as an "ex-dragoon", but as you can see there is nothing "ex" about it., unfortunately one other person also noticed the mistake and bid my up to just shy of...

Re: Savannah, GA. Gun Show 15th & 16th
Ok this makes me feel better for not going.. I have only purchased one rifle there, and that was a bubba'ed Enfield I picked up for $150.. A few shows ago I walled around With a gew88 and a for sale sign and was not stopped once. I just don't think it's a mill surp show. With the exception of the bl...

Picked up a special m44 today
Today started as a bad day, running late for my first appointment only to find he was an hour late himself.. The meeting only lasted 20 min, and I am going to have to go back. However I was in a town I do not spend much time in this part of the year, so I figured I may as well stop by a pawn shop I ...
