I would have liked to have seen some M44s at the Sidney, NE. Cabela's when I stopped in last Sunday. They did not have any Mosin Nagant rifles period. So I picked up a couple more boxes of PPU 150 gr BT. $350 is too much for M44s. That is M39 money!

I like my Mosins because they are cool old relics of a time gone by and they were affordable. I appreciate the story behind them and the individuality of each one I own.

Cool! My first 91/30 was a 37' Izhevsk! Prewar stock, Ukrainian origin. I bought it because it looked so good. And it was good. It had electro pencil numbers is all. But hey, everyone needs at least one of those right? That was three years ago. Now I have 13 Mosins, of various makes and differences....

That is a nice looking M96. I was looking at some on a milsurp website and I had a hard time convincing myself that I did not need one at this time. Good rifle you have there!
