Dot matrix import marks are a fact of life as everyone has already said. Electro penciled part numbers are a deal breaker for many though on a lot of rifles. I don't know if it is so much that it adds more to the price, but it does open up the market to those collectors (though small in numbers) that refuse to buy anything that does have an import mark.

Yeah, Finland used quite a few different finishes on their rifles throughout the years. I can't always tell if it is an arsenal finish or a bubba finish on some Finnish rifles. This is one of those rifles. I say it was a good buy.

37 is the last year of any documented SCW Mosins. Now, there is a possibility that 1938's do exist; bit not a single one has ever been documented.
