Re: My M91/30
It is a shame they drilled and tapped it, but It is nice to see you fix it up best it can be, rather than give it the full Bubba.

Re: Hungarian 48M Scope Questions
Sorry forgot to ask, does your scope have the rifle serial number on it? The mount, the base? http://www.hungariae.com/Mosi48.htm That is a good site. I had some correspondence with him about a Steyr 1911 I have. Mine is the 4127 commercial model he lists. It is the one without a lanyard loop. I fi...

Re: Romanian AK Magazine Kit
I think it is Bosnian mags, (with a Fleur-de-Lis ) can bring like $600. My buddy has one that he got at Knob Creek machine gun shoot a number of years ago for like $20. It is his favorite story.

Re: Romanian AK Magazine Kit
AK shit goes for silly prices. I have a circa early 2000"s Yugo M70. I found out that the fat M76 pistol grip it has is worth about $200 or more. Just the grip. Nuts.

Put some Rem-oil or wd40 on it. Something a little less aggressive than PB blaster.

Re: 7.62x54r Ammo
I have a bunch of Yugoslav heavy ball brass-cased 7.62x54r ammo. The stuff looks brand new, but none of it is reloadable due to berdan priming. You know, back when you could get Berdan primers, (which I don't think if you can anymore). A guy came up with a way to deprime them with a wooden punch an...

Re: 7.62x54r Ammo
It could be copper washed steel or brass. stick a magnet to the cases. The thing about reloading them if they are brass, they are Berdan primed. Regular boxer primers won't work.

Re: Which of these is the most interesting one for you?
Of the ones pictured, the Tula MO would be the hardest to find I think. Plus the MO refurbs seem to have been refurbed to a nicer level in my experience. Ive been collecting Mosins since 2008.

Any M91 stock should work. I don't know what current prices are. Someone is bound to come along with a better idea of value.

Re: Can you help me identify this?
That is a Sestroryetsk. Very desirable. Unfortunately the stock was chopped, but fortunately the barrel doesn't look to have been chopped. It might take a while to find them, but I would start the search for a replacement stock and handguard. They might be a bit pricey, but with the rifle being free...
