Re: Nagant 1895 Wheel Guns

Both of mine arrived today, and both are Tula's 1926 w/ rguns stenciled under the barrel. Marked CCCP, but with Tula hammer and stars affixed. Beautiful condition. How does AIM sell rguns $225.00 1824 - 1928 models for $190.00? :vconfused: They are far better looking than the 2 arsenal 1944's that I...

Re: Nagant 1895 Wheel Guns

Just received notice that my 2 are shipping :P

No notice that there was an ability to upgrade to a particular year or specific Arsenal like R-Guns.

Due to receive the shipment on Wednesday via UPS 2nd day so we'll see what arrives

Will post results upon receipt.

Re: Nagant 1895 Wheel Guns

I think these where so cheap for so long because there was nothing to shoot out of them. Then expensive, low powered stuff came in and they didn't impress anyone. PPU nagant is $27/box of 50 at Cabelas. Had they come in with pallets of military surplus Nagant as cheap as Tokarev, they would have mo...

For $110.00 I'd go for it, then if you ever want to sell it in the future you're sure to get your $$$ out and then some.

Just got notification from AIM that my order for 2 1895's are on order! :beek:

Over $100.00 when they were 1st available, these well may be the last? :vconfused:

Just happy to add to my growing collection of them :bwink:

Re: First mosin sniper, is this accuracy acceptable?

I will post this one again. From mosin-nagant.net, the accuracy requirements at arsenal test was: a 91/30 PU rifle was expected to shoot 10 shots into 3.5 cm (1.38") at 100m, 7.5 cm (2.96") at 200m, 18 cm (7.09") at 400m, and 35 cm (13.79") at 600m. Did Russian snipers receive m...

Don't know they should still have the POS that I sent back that looked like it had been thrown down a stairwell.

Great thing was they refunded my $$$ except for s&h cost.

M-14 in basic, M-1 at ITR, and M-14 in Division. Can still disassemble them blindfolded.

Wouldn't begin to know how to field strip a M-16 or AR-15 :vsad:

Re: Mr. Mail Lady brought me something fun for my M24

Not having dimensions shown, pretty standard hardware w/ the exception of that little "thingy" piece on the pipe.

Clearly appears to be a ramp that would go into a chamber.

Perhaps something to test a barrel prior to putting the action on it? :2cents:

Re: Got my first Mosin Nagant and glad to be here

I think that you did very well, after my 1st Finn I ordered nothing but Russian Hex receivers from both Arsenals from the mid 20's - 30's and am very pleased. Just wish that I had gotten into 91/30's earlier and less $$$, but still pleased to have gotten on board w/ these specimens. Now w/ the PU's ...

Re: X54 or x53 only

Most all of the later Finnish creations are opened up for the later bullet whether marked by the D or not. I have a couple early M27's that refuse to chamber certain surplus ammo, now whether that is the result of not being D marked I frankly don't know. I suspect that is probably just some unplann...
