Dont tell all the guys at camp perry using mosins in the vintage match they cant use those stripper clips over and over. Granted compared to some of the other rifles there are not alot of mosin shooters but there are plenty of them.

Nice looking mosin. I have a 35 tula also and it is the best shooter that i got. Ive placed with it in local cmp matches. Thinking of taking it to camp perry next year.

I would make sure it was as tight as i could get it. If it still comes loose i would try some thread tape like the plumbers use.

I didnt get the sa marked one because the stampings were very poor. The sa was great but the Izhevsk and year were barely legible. Maybe i should go back and see if its there and flip it. Its been 2 weeks though.

Go to the fishing aisle at your local sporting goods store and get yourself one of those replacement lites for bobbers. They come in a 2 pack for under 5 bucks. Close the bolt and drop it in. So small they even work on .22s.
