your right it is a mid to late war star for a pilotka or side cap the earlerly ones had a red enamail background

judging from the reciver markings it maybe a fairly early hanyang later ones had typicaly a reverse swazika marking and the 2 diget year code you add 12, (1912 the founding year of the chinese republic) to the year code to find out the year made Mines a year 30 or 1942. like the other posters said c...

i have a couple balkan m91 that looked to thatve been reblued after the scubbing and for the butt and floorplates renumbered the stocks on both appear to have been sanded partly removing the stamped Rack? numbers on the stock

ive used or tryed to use those chinese miltary clips being brass theres no temper so when you go to strip them into the action the brass splits and a couple times the rounds went flying my came with 50's chinese HB ammo

while you have it out of the stock stick the action back toghther and see if it feeds got a pat burns m39 the the interupter was digging into the wood where the postwar stock wasn't quite inlet properly..............

30 bucks for that? i bought a pair of them for 9 bucks each,,,, no wait that was like 22 years ago looks like a INT /28 pouch made of reindeer hide 30 bucks isn't bad even back when i bought mine most had, had repairs done to them

I used to do it regularly to well past 2000 meters, and hit the target better than 75% time on the first shot. But then, that was using the M68 105mm on a M60A3 and M1. :biggrin: i fired hundreds of rounds of 105mm from m60s and m1s at the calbration ranges after boresighting 1200 meter target neve...
