Thanks guys I appreciate all the feedback on it. It goes well with the '43 Izhevsk 91/59 I have and I am really happy with both of them. Now all I have to do is find a hex 91/59 and I will be happy Happy HAPPY !

Anychance we could see some pics inside the action? Just to confirm it were not drilled and tapped for sniper use? BTW, that would be my 91/59 grail. Sorry about not mentioning the front sights in my original post ... it was 1am and I was pretty tired. The front sights are being held in by duct tape atm. They slide right out of the channel way to easy so I put duct tape over them to hold it in place. I will have to think on what to use to hold it...

I recently picked up this 1943 Tula 91/59 in a trade deal. I don't know alot about the 91/59's but I like them alot and didn't have a Tula in my collection. Very nice rifle ! I just bought my first Tula back from the gentleman that I sold it to. Don't make the same mistake I made and sell your first Tula offf ... it will cost you at least $20 more then you get for it to get it back ;)

Awesome ! I have a much later serial numbered '34 that is an ex-Dragoon. Check to see if there is a gap between the rear sights and where it mounts to the barrel. If there is it is an ex-Dragoon to boot ! More pic's please !
