Re: M1 Garand fair price?

A typical brick and mortar LGS has to make a profit on everything but I think 2 grand for an M 1 is too steep. Check out the CMP and other stores in the area

It was okay. We had some teething problems with 165 grain JHP's. When we went with 180 grain JHP'S things cleared up.

Re: Glock 17 Range Day

I have an old G 17 that was my service pistol after we traded in our revolvers. When we “up gunned” (?) to the 40 S&W Glock G22 we could buy our G17’s. I did and it’s still one of my favorite 9mm’s . Mine came in the old “Tupperware “ style box.

Last October I was lucky enough to draw a permit to hunt on a Federal Wildlife preserve. I am getting everything together and realize I need something. Take the boss's truck and leave my development. Intersection is controlled by a light. I get a green signal pull into the intersection intent on mak...

Morons in a Pharmacy

I did something to one of my fillings and have a screaming toothache. Trying to get a dentist on a weekend is impossible short of a visit to a Hospital ER and they are going to tell me to wait. Decide to go to the local Pharmacy and see if they have any oil of cloves or similar item. Pharmacist didn...

Re: Billy the Kid's death weapon sold today...

Have to agree with JYD on this one. Final cost is probably close to 6.5 million (fees and other BS) Hell you could get a case of 7.62 x 39 and 3 or 4 sheets of 3/4 plywood for that kind of money :chuckles:
