Glad to hear everything worked out to your satisfaction. I've dealt with Classic in the past and have always been happy with the results.

Re: Is this a Yugoslavian Mauser? Pic Heavy
Looking at your pictures there appears to be the typical rust and associated pitting, some dried encrusted oil/cosmolene and what I think is blood. Hard to say for sure. Interesting piece of history. If only it could speak.

Re: Rc K98
I won the bid so here are some pics of the rifle from my gunbroker account. Payment is going out tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it sent directly to me through my C&R and not have to deal with a dealer and his mark up. http://pics.gunbroker.com/GB/258403000/258403832/pix143344014.jpg http://pics.g...

I think your biggest issue would be in stabilizing the bullet. I'm not sure what the typical "twist" is for a 7.62x39 compared to 7.62 x 54R.

Re: head space
I bought a set of Okie's for my Mosin's and could not be happier. Everything has passed so far and I feel very confident shooting after checking the headspace. I have seen a failure while on the line and it was modified mauser. Fortunately the shooter was not hurt but his rifle was ruined.

Re: Enfield and Mauser
I mentioned this in another thread but OOOO steel wool saturated in gun oil will work on surface rust without taking off all the underlying blue. Keep it in an used baby food jar with a little extra oil in with it so when you use it the steel wool is soaked.
