Re: Finnish Mosin Question
I have a Finn with a complete Remington bolt. It too was covered in grease. I don't remember what rifle it was though.

They will have sorted through them are removed any rarer or desirable rifles. You will only be getting a basic 1943 in terrible condition.

Re: 1932 VKT M27
Nice M27,
capt14k, you can clearly see the serial is 2007 when you open up the image.
2007 is a later VKT as there were only 2150 made in 32. It is also wearing a m28/30 stock so likely has a post war refurbishment.

Re: Stock Repairs?
I like to get stocks with repairs.
Two of mine that stand out are,
Remington in a NEW stock. And two repairs on this 1932 M91/59.

Check for an import mark on the bottom of the barrel up by the front sight.
I have a couple in similar condition to this, not refurbed as they came here to the US from Albania.

It's a nice old ex dragoon that was refurbished and changed to the current M91/30 configuration. The big giveaway is the rear sight.
Here is my 1923 Dragoon with its original rear sight.

Re: M44 Mosin 1947
According to the numbers the 1947 is a lower production year. I found mine in a crate with many other years and it was the only 47. That was a few years ago.
Mine looks to be unissued and very lightly refurbished as are many of the later years.

Re: BUG
I don't carry a BUG, if i need two guns then the place i am going to is too unsafe so i will not go. That said, i do carry small guns if i need absolute concealment. I used to pocket carry or ankle carry a Keltec P3AT 380. Great cheap little gun. When the Glock 43 came out, I started to carry that a...

The laser etched mark is a Riihimäki CIP proof stamp. Done after released from the Army depots to the civilian market. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_Internationale_Permanente_pour_l%27Epreuve_des_Armes_%C3%A0_Feu_Portatives I just looked in my book, the The M39 was designed around the 7.6...

Re: M39 Review...........Post Your m39's We have some new one's on the forums!!!
These must have been imported by Tennessee Guns but not all went to Burns, Some went to SOG Mine has the 7,62x53R on the left side of the barrel shank. Consensus was it was put there by the Finns as they use a , instead of a . for a decimal point. I don't remember the reason for 53R marking or if it...

Re: M39 Review...........Post Your m39's We have some new one's on the forums!!!
I'm definitely at least a decade off. Finns didn't start surplusing the M/39 til 1986. Burns bought the last big batch of 12,900 from Tennessee Guns in 2007. I thought Burns imported an earlier batch with another importer in I guess it was 1992. ZeeBill would likely remember best. He was dealing wi...

I can't help, but i can point you to the showcase where MT has a few PU snipers used by other countries. The yugoslavian and hungarian could be what it is, if it's not a Romanian.

Re: Need some help with this M44.
Looks like one of the non refurbs that came in from Albania a few years ago. Most were 1944 and 1945. They were not refurbished and looked alot like the one you are showing. The stock on yours looks better so it may have been cleaned up alittle.

I can't comment on the price but the rifle looks be very similar to my Tulsky I purchased from Aim surplus the other year. Here are a couple of pictures of mine for reference. Not all came with the scope cover. sniper024_zps7af76b71.jpg The serial number on the barrel was stamped onto the side of th...

Re: Mosin Nagant sniper....Real or fake?..
Tulsky mosin snipers are gtg.
During refurb some had the old number ground off.
you can tell it is a sniper because the normal proof marks that are on the wood line have been moved up to make room for the scope number.

Yeah, this is a common one in either refurbs or Finn captures.
