Erfurt no date P.08

Don't know much about it so maybe you can tell me. No chamber date. Here are some of the markings. http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo344/351mustang65/pix887228603_zpsmmmhyxst.jpg http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo344/351mustang65/pix655309761_zpstcyuwrit.jpg http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: Well this is embarassing...

What's worse to me than my luck at these sort of things is the fact that classic will not post my somewhat undesirable review ( just stating facts nothing crazy). So if you see something on their site with mostly good reviews just know there's probably a lot of other reviews they didn't allowed to g...

Re: Well this is embarassing...

Thanks for the headsup on the stock.

I know some VKT M39's came in and or were put in SAKO stocks but I am kind of wondering if this is a stock Classic took off and swapped with an otherwise nice SAKO rifle.

Re: Well this is embarassing...

I got one of the $249 scratch and dents. It even came with the hangtag. It took me about 2 hours to get it all cleaned up. The rust was under the wood for the most part. More importantly, it is a great shooter. I posted pics in the show off your M39 thread. WOW yours looks a lot better then mine wh...

Re: Well this is embarassing...

Well mine came in today and just like any time I buy from one of these luck of the draw places I got the shorter end of the stick. It's a VERY well worn VKT in a SAKO stock with a nice BIG tang crack that goes straight through to the bottom and pretty much no blueing. It's probably a 250 dollar rifl...

Re: J&G Yugo K98 questions

I got one from them 2 years ago for like 250 and it's not bad but did not come with a German stock and the bore while not too horrible is probably the worst of any I personally own.

Re: Original K98k stripper clips

I was originally talking to etprescottazusa91 when mentioning the possible sale of German clips. I did get 14 Turk clips in a bandoleer for 14 bucks but the deal I had going for a few German clips didn't work out.

Re: Original K98k stripper clips

A few pics of some German stripper clips, these are the best quality chargers I have seen. OK, thanks for the pictures. I thought they were a two piece style just like the Swedish ones I got with my M41b. http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo344/351mustang65/Mobile%20Uploads/81027f84-8a59-4080-9247...

Re: Original K98k stripper clips

The three piece turks look like a brass version of the Romanian spam can clips.

Got some German ones to add to the collection (and use) and picked up some of the Turks you suggested to check out.

Original K98k stripper clips

Anyone have pictures of the style/styles of K98 clips that were used by the germans during WWII? I would like to buy some originals but every clip you find for sale claims to be German WWII when I know for a fact some of them aren't so I would like some visual confirmation of styles and maybe markin...

Re: M39 Review...........Post Your m39's We have some new one's on the forums!!!

Seeing the "hang-tag" up there reminds me of when I felt I was snookered by Burns. I had a hard time choosing between two rifles, so I picked up the one with the "hang-tag." The rifle was great, but the hang-tag was blank....no entries, no stamps, no writing. Oh well... Oh I kno...
