For me the CZ82 is the most comfortable firearm to hold. Pretty snappy to.
Beautiful gun!

Re: Hospitalization
Hang in there. They will get you "right" (or close). I have A Fib and so did my Dad and his Father. They did nothing for my Dad and Grandfather and, my Grandfather lived to 92. I'm 71 and they give me blood thinners. But, I have skip beat every so often. Sometimes as much as ever 5 beats. ...

Re: Questions for my 1943 Izhevsk PU
And one more question - Is it hard to find an Izhevsk pu stock online? Is it worth finding one and replace the current Tula stock? Will it be really helpful from the value perspective when I sell it in the future? Even if you found one, due to dimensional variations in manufacturing the PUs, the ch...

Re: Questions for my 1943 Izhevsk PU
I can see the import marks which are the best indicator of the rifle. I would love to see the import marks (probably on the right side of the barrel shank or under the top hand guard. It looks to be a Tulsky import https://russian-mosin-nagant-forum.com/knowledgebase/sniper_exports.html Swapping par...

Re: 1943 Izhevsk pu identification
Yes, Century sold both "put together from spare parts on a standard M91/30 rifle and also real snipers side by side with no distinction. Sorry, but this one is a "put together".... or so it looks like. When they do that now we call them "fakes" but Century gets away with is ...

Re: 1943 Izhevsk pu identification
Miller, Is this an early " Century Import"? I noted: No scope numbers on the left side of the barrel shank. Looks like inspection marks on lower left side of barrel shank removed" (originally)????? Base, mount and scope look real but (mixed makers), scope mound serial numbers don't ma...

I think you have to use a "gas check"? with lead. Not sure but I used to have a bunch with the checks on them.

OMG.......4.8! :chuckles: We have 4 to 5's here all the time. Our last big one was Loma Prieta at 6.9..... 1400 times stronger then a 4.8. The worse part of that one is it lasted so damn long. I remember thinking, ..... The house seems OK. At around 20 seconds or so I remember thinking .....this ho...

Re: Enemy at the Gates / Ron Perlman
Myself. I feel it would lower the value of a PU sniper to have his name signed on it.
He had nothing to do with that rifle.
