Actually the soviets did make some batches post war of M38's and I believe M44's with PU scopes on them. I have seen them in pics taken from the firearms museums in Russia ;)

Beautiful sniper ;) I once had six of them in the sniper version in my collection and had four of them scoped and shot them I did and they were all good shooters....... as long as you remmebred the first shots out of all of them went 14-15" to the right if I remember right....... odd quirk. Aft...

If you dont know who he is you should do some reading on him............ he is the driving force behind alot of guns we have today as well as their cartriges. Anyone here have any experience with the new production M57/M70 yugo toks in 9mm and 7.62x25? They have the slide mounted safety. Interested in possibly finding one in the original tok round as a carry gun. Thanks ;)
