Sounds like you picked it up for less than the market value, so you can always get your money back plus a few bucks if you ever get tired of it. That's the way to do it!!

I've found uncommon Finns for $100 to $200 that were worth $400 to $500 and I've found 1943 refurb Izhevsk 91-30s for $399, so it just depends on where you go and how much...

I got one a few years ago... bid on an original dragoon and I could see the panshin hood on the bayo next to the rifle.

I found one last year with no hood for $20 at a show, that was a no-brainer

if you're using boat tail bullets, you can easily seat a 311 bullet in a case necked for a 308 bullet. if you're using flat base bullets, you'll have a hard time ;)
